Sometimes the road ahead isn’t open.
Not every shop wants your business.
Not every conversation goes your way.
Not every place is meant to receive what you’re carrying.
Jesus reminds us:
“If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.”
— Matthew 10:14
In the automotive world, you learn this fast. You don’t keep wrenching on a frame that’s twisted beyond repair. You don’t keep pouring time into a build that refuses to move forward. There’s wisdom in knowing when to step back, wipe your hands clean, and move on to what God has next.
Faith isn’t about forcing every door open.
It’s about obedience—and trusting God with the outcome.
If a path stays blocked, shake the dust off and keep rolling. God’s purpose doesn’t stall because one road closes. He’s already mapped another route.
Prayer:
Father, give me discernment to know when to stay and when to move on. Help me release what’s not meant for me and trust You with every mile ahead. Lead me to the places where Your purpose and my calling align. Amen.
